Recognized with the Arjuna Award in 2010, Sandeep Singh is a legendary hockey player who holds the world record for the fastest drag-flick of all times at 145 km/hr. Also known as Flicker Singh, Sandeep led India to victory in many international tournaments such as the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. While at the peak of his career he was involved in a serious accident which threatened to put a stop to his playing days forever. Overcoming all odds, he made a comeback in the Indian Hockey Team, eventually leading India to the 2012 Olympic Games in London where he scored the maximum number of goals in the qualifiers. His inspirational story is currently being made into a Bollywood biopic starring Diljit Dosanjh.
