One of the finest chefs of Taj Hotels, Bangalore, Narayanan Krishnan, peppered the stage of TEDxMICA2011 with the concept of ‘joy of giving’. Here he spoke about the incident that turned the wheels of his life and pushed him into the world of social service. In 2002, he quit his job and founded the Akshaya Trust organization in 2003 which serves food to the homeless and mentally-disabled in Madurai.
